Dressing and grooming the deceased
Preparing the deceased for their final farewell is a moment that requires the utmost care, professionalism, and deep respect.
Our goal is to restore a serene and natural appearance to your loved one, ensuring that you and your family are left with a dignified memory of this final encounter.
We dress the deceased in clothing of your choice—ranging from classic suits and formal dresses to the everyday attire in which the person felt most comfortable. If you are unable to provide the clothing yourself, we will obtain it according to your instructions.
The family may provide the clothing and hand it over to our staff, who will carry out the dressing process in designated areas or in the presence of family members. Family members may also choose to dress the deceased themselves, or the clothing can be delivered to our staff at a later time.
Officials and Clergy: For individuals who served in the military or the clergy, we observe all protocols regarding official attire. We will also advise you on the most suitable clothing choices (such as high collars) in instances where this is technically necessary following an autopsy.
Personal touches for a lasting memory: We support the beautiful custom of placing cherished personal items—such as religious symbols, photographs, dedications, or objects that held significance during the person’s lifetime—into the hands or pockets of the deceased.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
For funerals via cremation, as part of our service, we provide a suitable cotton talar – clothing for cremation, respecting all the technical and aesthetic standards of the crematorium.
